On Reading

I love to read. Wish I had more time to do so. Thanks for the recommendations, Howie. I'll order them.

A couple weeks ago, President Bush was interviewed by a relatively friendly journalist (I can see his face, but I can't remember his name). The interviewer began pursuing a line of questions about how Bush gets his information. Do you know how many newspapers our president reads each day? Zero. What news shows does Bush watch? None. Somewhat flummoxed (and perhaps alarmed), the journalist asked where he does get his information. From Cheney, Powell, Rumsfeld, Rice, Rove. I think that's the definition of a puppet, isn't it?
