Well, it's still out of my price range, but I sure do like this ("All Our Patent Are Belong To You") from CEO Elon Musk at the Tesla Blog. Maybe I'll be able to afford one of their future cheaper models.
I seriously dislike the patent system and its effect of stifling innovation and it's nice to see that Elon agrees with me.

Odd, since you have visited a place without patent protection. I have never gotten the impression you admired its innovation or economic performance, though.
It really is a beautiful car. We passed a dealer frequently when we were in Boston last year and they featured different colors (and probably models, I didn't look that closely), but I admired the sleek lines non-tarted-up lines.
