This is way cool. 14,213 different gadgets for blogs, but I guess they aren't written for the new beta blog because when I paste the code into Add an Element, I get the gadget in the sidebar, but also the white rectangle shown in the sample.
All that code is very tightly tied to the weblogging platform. I am not even sure that the information needed is accessible to third party code.
Although, in theory, I could write code to clone your weblog to a MovableType weblog, publish the calendar there, then do some AJAX to fetch it back over here.

Thanks bret. Would you know the page where the blog calendars are? I lost mine and can't find it again. No jokes please.
What's a blog calendar?
It's a widget thingy that installs a little calendar in the sidebar. Sorry if that's too technical.
I'm not sure how to install one of those. Let me know if you figure it out. aog has one but he's not using blogger.
It's a bunch of code that you paste into the "Add an Element" option.
I'll keep looking and get back to you if I find it.
I have this too. Bwahahaha!
P.S. Be sure to hover on the month names for extra coolness. And the oxed days. That's cool too.

Can this code be altered for the new design?
Show off.
bret, here's the code for a whole bunch of blogger calendars
Thanks, erp.
I noticed you put one on your blog, but it doesn't allow me to get to posts for a given day like you can with aog's?
It's a poor thing, nothing like aog's, but then I must content myself with what's attainable and not look to the unattainable. It's a Zen thing.
However, if aog sends me code that'll work on Blogger, I'll display it with pride and give him billing. HINT.

Hmmm. I'll put it on my list :-)
Just teasing you. You know what they say, if you want something done, ask someone who's already busier than a ... ;-)
